By focusing on these aspects, METCON creates a unique blend of time-capped exercises with high intensity, establishing itself as the ultimate program for enhancing fitness. METCON workouts follow either a HIIT (high-intensity interval training) format or circuit training. The goal is not just to achieve but also to sustain an extraordinary effort over short periods. This needs to be accomplished with as little rest as possible between each workout, driving the body’s energy and metabolic systems to their peak.
60-Minute MTCN Class Structure
Our METCON class at MVMT CrossFit is a carefully designed 60-minute session, crafted to maximize every minute:
- Warm-up: The class starts with a dynamic warm-up to prepare your body for the intensity to come.
- Specific Movement Warm-ups: Based on the Workout of the Day, these targeted warm-ups focus on the key muscles and joints that will be engaged.
- Main Workout: This is where the intensity spikes. Engaging in movements like pull-ups, deadlifts, kettlebell swings, jumping squats, ball slams, and burpees, you’ll feel every muscle at work.
- Cool Down and Stretch: We understand the importance of recovery. The class concludes with a cool down and stretching to aid in recovery and flexibility.
